Peggy Jo Jones, 69, of Paintsville, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Jones was born August 14, 1943, in Johnson County, daughter of the late Wayne and Dorothy Thompson Blevins.
She was a clerk with the Johnson County Water Company.
Surviving are one son, Russell Stambaugh of Paintsville, one daughter, Mellisa Jo Jones of Paintsville, and one sister, Katrinka Collins of Denver.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Toby wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
