HUGHES, 78, of North Beach Haven, Long Beach Townnship, died Tuesday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, Stafford Township.
Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Long Beach Island Garden Club, N.J. State Garden Club, Violet Society of Westfield and Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital, Westmont Auxiliary.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Colonia, Woodbridge Township, and Cranford before moving to the area in 1981.
Surviving is her husband, Michael.
Services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 12th Street, Ship Bottom, where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge.
