Obituary
Ladell "Dell" Gene Wood passed away on February 6, 2013. He was born to Annie and Charles Wood on September 13, 1943 in Holland, Texas. He graduated Holland High School in 1961.
On his birthday in 1986, he married his wife of 26 years, Amanda Vail Wood.
Dell graduated from St. Edward's University with a Master's Degree in 1980. In 1982, he retired as MSGT in the USAF; in 2003 he retired from TxDot. While he worked as an adjunct instructor in management at Austin Community College, he was also working as an EMT-I for Capital Ambulance.
Dell loved serving others and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Wood; his sister, Loraine Strutz and closest friend, Michael R. Sullivan.
Dell was preceded in death by his parents; daughter; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
