Madison--Frank L. Bird, 81, died Wednesday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was a native of Trimble County, Ky., a retired clerk at the Madison Post Office and a member of Masonic Lodge 2, Madison Conservation Club, Jefferson County Historical Society, Washington Fire Co. 2 and Milton (Ky.) United Methodist church.
Survivors: his wife, the former Nellie Harrod; two sons, Lee Bird of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Wiley Bird of El Toro, Calif.; a brother, J. Howard Bird; a sister, Goldie Ewing of Louisville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturdday, Gans-Andrew Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy: American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
