Pertinent points in her obituary:
Graduate from the Morningside Hospital School of Nursing,which later became Hillcrest Medical Center.

Shortly before World War II, she was employed by a group of osteopathic physicians at the Byrne's Regional Medical Center.

She was superintendent of nurses at the Osteopathic institute for many years before retiring to private duty.

Later, she worked for all the Tulsa hospitals, continuing with St. John Medical Center after she moved to Mounds in 1964.

She worked at Curry Clinic Hospital and Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa before retiring.

She attended Mounds First Baptist Church.
