Roy Nealiegh Cole, of Trenton, Nebraska, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska on Tuesday June 25, 2013. Roy was born south of Trenton on Oct. 22, 1929, to Jasper Elbert and Blanche Myrtle (Nealiegh) Cole.
Roy graduated Trenton (NE.) School in 1947. On June 18, 1949, he was united in marriage to Carrie Helena Baker. The couple celebrated 64 years of marriage this month. Roy was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad for more than 43 years. Roy farmed northwest of Trenton, Nebraska 13 miles. He enjoyed hunting with family members.
Roy was preceded in death by: parents; sister, Gladys and husband, William "Bud" Cemer; brother, Elbert C. Cole and son, Donald Roy Cole on Nov 3, 1985; brother-in-laws, Willis Faith and Carl Lewis.
Interment was in the Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, Nebraska.
