Our loving mother, sister, friend, and wife, Marilyn Bingham Baker returned with honor to her father in heaven, the morning of February 17,1998.
She was an example of courage and strength to all who knew her, as she valiantly battled numerous health problems her entire life. Though often sick, she always maintained a sweet attitude about life, and always had a deep concern for others. She loved spending time with family and friends and a love of music was in voice and heart. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she took joy in serving in various positions. She graduated from Box Elder High School, received a B.S from Utah State and her Masters degree in social work from the University of Utah. After graduating she worked as a social worker at Primary Childrens Hospital, Division of Family Services, Travelers Aid and Granite School District. Marilyn married her sweetheart and best friend in the Logan Temple. Her husband, Reed, was always kind, loving and supportive of her through her trials. He was always found by her side loving her and taking care of her needs. Marilyn's children were the joy of her life. She loved and appreciated them deeply. They were her motivation to overcome the health problems she had.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Reed; and her children, Michael, Brent and Betsy, of East Mill Creek; her father, Earl Bingham (Honeyville, Utah); and the following brothers and sisters, Erlene Van Weerd (Milford), Darwin (Beverly), Bernice (LaVar), Edward (Shirlene), Bryon (Janice), Lewis (Linda), Irene (Larry), Boyd (Mary), Douglas (Rosemary); sisters-in law, Barrylyn (Jerold) Hedquist and Evalyn (James) Finch. Marilyn was preceded in death by an infant son, David, her mother, Afton Madsen Bingham, brothers, Clark and Rees, and sister Jeanette Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 1998, 11 a.m., at the East Mill Creek 15th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2500 East). Friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the Church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services . Interment: Honeyville City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
