Ila was the daughter of Leonard Rush "L.R." Hamrick (1885-1952) and Permelia Angaline "Mealy" Dennis (1889-1965). She married Charlie Brown Knowles (1905-1983) the son of Lawrence Gage Knowles (1879-1957) and Lydia Stroud (1881-1964) on April 5, 1928 in Texas.


Those we Love remain with us, for Love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade,because a loved one is gone. Those we Love can never be,more than a thought apart. For as long as there is a memory, they'll live on in our heart.
