KIRBYVILLE – Funeral for Nevie Herrin Hall, 57, will be at 10 a.m. today at Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home with burial in Sam Herrin Cemetery at Fawil near Kirbyville.
She died about 9 p.m. Sunday in Mary Dickerson Hospital in Jasper after a short illness. A native of Newton County, she had lived in Kirbyville 20 years and was employed at West Gibson Store in Jasper.
Survivors include her husband, J. W. Hall; a daughter, Elaine Hall Hughes; two brothers, Ray and Edmon Herrin, all of Kirbyville, and two sisters, Myrtle Sparks of Newton and Elvie Dodson of Kirbyville.
