Helen Pearl Clark, 91, of Longwood/Ft Myers, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born September 14, 1921 in Bradenton, Florida to Floyd and Amy (Harvey) Zipperer. She graduated from Manatee High School, Bradenton, FL, in 1939. After attending Business School, she moved to Fort Myers where she worked for Farmers Home Administration until she retired in 1977, after which she worked as a Realtor in the area for several years. Pearl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where she taught children's Sunday school, and was a past Deacon as well as a member of the Women's Circle. She was also in the Beta Sigma Phi for 60 years. Pearl will be remembered most for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Her family was the greatest love of her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Iline Burks (Duncan Ross), two grandchildren Tiffany Wood (Steven) and Clayton Burks (Jamie Johnson), two great grand children Lily Pearl Wood and Lucy Victoria Wood, three siblings, Buddy, Harvey, and Bobby Zipperer, also many nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by five siblings, Laura, Walter and Murray Zipperer, Myrtie Cummins and Effie Goodwin, as well as grandson Dayne Harris and beloved husband of 59 years, Mitchell Clark.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2438 Second Street, Fort Myers, FL. Friends will be received from 12:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later time in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163 or by phone 1-800-344-4867.

Services will be under the direction of First Presbyterian Church.
