Elizabeth H. Mallory, 94 of Temperance, MI, died Friday, June 21, 2013 in The Goerlich Center, Sylvania, OH. Born April 2 1 , 1919 in Bedford Twp. , M I , she was the daughter of Joel and Florence ( Mc-Clain) Hubbard. She married William Foreman Mallory Jr in 1944 and from this union came the birth of six children.
She was 1936 graduate of Monroe High School.
Elizabeth worked for the formers Janney's Hardware and as a seamstress for Al's Upholstery, Sam's Uphol-stery, and Michael Downs Interiors.
She is survived by her loving children, William Mallory, Susan ( Thomas) Schardt, Melinda Rhodes, Mary Loth, Martha Miller and Margaret (Kevin) Morrin; 15 grandchildren, Randall, Melissa, Peter, Patrick, Molly, Amanda, Nicholas, Kathryn, Mathew, Jennifer, Melanie, Joshua, Ashley, Mitchell and Andrew; 10 great- grandchildren, Mallory, Logan, Lauren, Lucas, Brik, Boon, Alexandra, Bowie, Addison and Elijah.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Vreeland; brother, Joel E. Hubbard; grandson, Thomas Schardt Jr., and sons-inlaw, Karl Miller, MD, and Jeffrey Rhodes.
Visitation will be from 12: 00 Noon- 2: 00 pm Tuesday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd., Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 2: 00 pm. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery, Erie, MI.
The family would like to thank MCOP/ L. I. F. E. for providing home health care and meals on wheels which enabled our Mom to live independently for a prolonged period of time. Also, we would like to thank The Goerlich Center along with Promedica Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during Mom's final 1½ years of her life.
