Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fowler. Moved to Morgan County, IN with her parents in 1832. Married Edward S. Gregory in Morgan County 1/26/1845. They had 3 children. Mr. Gregory died in Morgan County in 1855. In the fall of that year, she left IN with her parents and sibling, bound for Kansas. She married Nathaniel Parker 1/24/1858 in Lyon County. They had 3 children. Mr. Parker died in 1865. 4/11/1872 she married William McCoin in Lyon County.
She was survived by 7 brothers; Elvis Fowler of Morgan County, IN; Dorris, Eli, and Ruffin Fowler of Emporia; Ironton Fowler of Nevada, MO., and Allison and John A. Fowler of Independence. 2 sisters Mrs. Nancy Cheshire of Emporia, and Mrs. William Stack of
Emporia. 5 children; Mrs. Harriet F. (Gregory) Martin of Rosedale, John Gregory of Emporia; Clinton Parker of Kokomo, IN; Mrs. Sarah (Parker) Myers of Guthrie, OK; and
S. N. Parker of Emporia.
3 brothers, Harvey, William and Levi; are dead; also 3 sisters, Frankie Ann (Fowler) Greeson, Malinda and Jane, one daughter Mrs. William Jay died almost 40 years before.
Interment in Hunt Cemetery.
