He was a Marine Corps and Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Mae, three daughters, Mary Kay, Malinda and Carolyn, a son, John; one brother, Harold and two sisters, Vera and June.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Avoca Baptist Church Family and Life Center in Avoca.
Day and Carter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
