Mrs. Nelson spent practically all of her life in Middletown. She was a member of the Baptist church, the Federated Church Ladies Aid Society and a charter member of the Clear Lake Parlor of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She was active in the community affairs during her entire life and had friends in great numbers.
