TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, ANDERSON DAILY BULITIN Zula Gaither Dies Monday ' ALEXANDRIA -
Mrs. Zula B. Gaither, 55, wife, JQ£- Lawrence Gaither, died Monday night at 11:55 o'clock at her home, 413 W. 5th St. She had been ill since 1953. Mrs. Gaither was born in Jennings County on June 29, 1901, the daughter of John and Mary Abel Jordan.
She first married Frank Ballard in 1917 and then Mr. Gaither on Feb. 27, 1937. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are: the husband, Lawrence; one son, Loyce, at Home; three daughters, Mrs. Delores Miller, North Lake. HI., and twins, Mrs. Everett Cummings and Mrs. Vern Horton of Alexandria: one stepson, Richard Gaither of Middletown; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia Keesling of Anderson; one brother, Ezra Jordan of Grant, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Clark and Mrs. Alta Magges of Kewanna, Ind., and Mrs. Opal Cummins of Chesterfield, and 18 grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Gipe, Williams and Kyle Funeral Home and will be taken to the family home where friends may call after 5 p. m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a. m. in the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Dee Henderson in charge. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
