He was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Knousetown, Juniata County, a son of the late Ernest and Alverna (Watts) Feltman. He was married to the former Loretta J. Roush, who preceded him on May 12, 2005, and the companion of Seena DePrisco, of Mount Pleasant Mills.
Donald retired with more than 30 years of service from the Local 520 Pipefitters Union, Harrisburg.
He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Millerstown, and Liverpool American Legion Post 364.
Donald enjoyed hunting and going out daily to breakfast at Family Traditions Restaurant, Mount Pleasant Mills.
In addition to his companion, he is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Amy Feltman and Doug and Anna Feltman, all of Millerstown, and Dennis and Paula Feltman and Daryl and Kimberly Feltman, all of Richfield; eight grandchildren, Justin Feltman and his wife, Amanda, Derek Feltman, Skyler Feltman, Andrew Feltman, Katrina Nace and her husband, James "J.J", Daphne Feltman, Anthony Feltman and Robin Feltman; three great-grandchildren, Addyson, Camden and Ella Feltman; four brothers and sisters, Ida Colyer, of McAlisterville, Raymond Feltman and his wife, Grace, of Mount Pleasant Mills, George Feltman and his wife, Barb, of Richfield, and Katie Knouse, of Liverpool; his brothers-in-law, Robert Minium and his wife, JoAnn, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Glenn "Butch" Roush and his wife, Kathy, of Freeburg, David Roush and his wife, Penny, of Port Trevorton, and John Gehman and his wife, Donna, of Kylertown; his sisters-in-law, Anna Roush, of Liverpool, Barb Chappell, of Middleburg, Edna Feltman, of Millerstown, and Shirley Feltman, of Richfield; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by one son, Donald Feltman Jr., in infancy; two brothers, Ernest Jr. and Robert Feltman; two sisters, Betty "Betz" Roush and Arlene Heller and her husband, Jim; and a sister-in-law, Erma Stroup.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Thomas Independent Brethren in Christ Church, St. Thomas Road, Mount Pleasant Mills, followed by the funeral at 2 with Pastor Roger L. Womer officiating.
Burial will be in Arbogast's Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills. There will be a time of fellowship and a meal at the church following the burial.
