Carol Davis Besseche, age 72, of Auburn, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 2, 2012, after a gallant fight with lung cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years; three children and their spouses; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters, Idalia Davis Eubanks, Faye Davis Howse, Judith Davis Fanning; two brothers, Bruce Davis and Bill Davis. Carol Davis Besseche, was born in 1940, in Pine Hill, South Carolina to Grace Barnes Davis and Grover Heath Davis. She was a graduate of North High School in South Carolina and the Orangeburg Regional Hospital School of Nursing. She was a dedicated registered nurse for over 40 years serving many children and families. She was an avid reader, devoted follower of Christ and active member of Hebron Baptist Church. A Funeral Service Celebrating the Life of Carol Davis Besseche will be held Friday, November 9, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Glen Rowden officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
