Phyllis married the love of her life, Norman E. Aker In 1945. He preceded her in death in February 10. 1990. Mrs. Aker had worked for the American Laundry later known at the Superior Laundry.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Marilyn Strong (husband-Robert); Muncie, son David Wayne Aker (wife-Linda); Texas, brothers
Selby Franklin Harney (wife-Pat); Texas, Clifford Eugene Harney (wife-Ruth Ann); Texas, Kenneth Harney, Texas Roscoe Harney (wife-Ellen), Florida, sisters Imogene Hurst (husband-Frank); Muncie, Thelma May Belt; Muncie, Maxine Burke; Sharpsville, nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister Doris Louise Martin and one granddaughter Ashley Strong.
