Minnie was a daughter of Frederick and Fredericka (Voss) Hoeft. She came to the USA with her parents in about 1872. Minnie married Carl Schroeder in Harvard Illinois in 1886. They lived in Harvard until 1898 when they moved to Fontana Wisconsin. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1936.
