He was admitted to the Bar May 3, 1863, and practically resided in Milford all his business life....
Nov 5, 1867, he married Miss Clara A. Hayward, daughter of ex-Deputy Sheriff S. W. Hayward.
She died a few years ago, leaving two children, and he later married Miss Mary A. Parkhurst, who survives.
His children are Lieut. Harold E. Fales, also a Lawyer, and Miss Clara Ethalyn Fales.
The family of Fales originally came from Chester, Eng.

Mr. Fales was three times married, his first wife being a Miss (Violettee L.) Sherman, who lived only a short time after her marriage.
His second marriage was to Clara A. Hayward, daughter of Samuel W. Hayward, of Milford, who died ... Two children resulted from this union.
In September 1891, Mr. Fales married Miss Mary A. Parkhurst, who with his two children now survive him.
