The funeral of George Clayton Wilbur, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Wilbur was held from the family home on Pleasant street Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A large number of young people with whom the dead boy was such a favorite were present and sent many beautiful floral tokens. The interment was in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Funeral Director W. P. Miskell. The following playmates of the deceased acted as bearers: Wilbur Bennett, Charles Davis, William, Charles and Horace Powell and Harry Catlin.
