Mrs. Iris Curry Allen. 81, died Sunday, October 1 at the South Sunflower County Hospital. Services were conducted on Tuesday, October 3, at 10 00 at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in City Cemetery. Card Funeral home of Indianola was in charge of the services. Mrs. Allen was a native of Webster County, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was the widow of B. B. Allen. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. John Lundy and Mrs. George Lipe of Indianola, and Mrs. Cheri Allen Armstrong of Jackson. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. G. T. Wingo of Memphis, Mrs Lillie Forsier of Rhylander, Wisconsin, two brothers E J Curry of Sun City, Arizona and Bill Curry of Sunflower, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
