Mrs. Della Laign, widow of Dr. Edward A. Laign, passed away suddenly Saturday in Chicago, while she was visiting her niece. Mrs. W. R. Mc Dowell, and husband, death being caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Laign's maiden name Delia McLean and she was born Sept. 30. 1879. at Elizabeth, daughter of George and Annie McLean. She was married in 1896 to Wallace Overstreet, who passed away the following year. Later she was married to Edward Laign, who preceded her in death Sept 10, 1927. She is survived by three brothers, Lester McLean, of Casper, Wyo.. Elliott, living in Scales Mound, and Leonard, of Elizabeth. A sister. Mrs. Georgiana, Reynolds, passed away a number of years ago. The body was taken to the Vanderheyden funeral home at Stockton and funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Elizabeth Methodist church. Rev. W. H Ake officiating. internment will be made in the Elizabeth cemetery.
