RICHFIELD-Dr. Leslie A. Poulson, 81, Richfield, active civic leader, died of natural causes Saturday at his home.
Dr. Poulson, a retire dentist, was a past president of the Utah State Dental Assn. and a member of the Utah State Board of Health and had served on the Sevier County Welfare Board.
ACTIVE IN RANCHING
He had been active in cattle ranching, was a board member of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
A Richfield native he was born Nov. 15, 1892, a son of Niels Christian and Caroline Peterson Poulson. He married Helen Newell Jan. 18, 1923 in Salt Lake City. She died in January, 1969.
WWI VETERAN
He was a veteran of World War I and was member of the American Legion.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Carolyn) McBirney, Los Altos, Calif.; Mrs. Lynne (Pamela) Scott, Riverside, Calif.; Mrs. Clair (Antoinette) Johnson, Bellevue, Washington; 11 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. Richfield 2nd and 5th Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Springer Mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
