SHE MARRIED ERNEST ROOSEVELT MAUK 10 JAN 1925 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE.

SURGOINSVILLE – Mrs. Bertha Greer Mauk, 65, of Surgoinsville, Route 1, died Saturday in a Greeneville hospital.

She is survived by her husband, E. R. Mauk of Surgoinsville; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Presley of Rogersville, Mrs. Ola Barton of Surgoinsville, Mrs. Nava Jo Coldwell of Surgoinsville and Miss Carolyn Mauk of Surgoinsville; three sons, Edward, Tilden, both of Surgoinsville, and Shird of Rogersville; 10 grandchildren; four brothers, Earl Greer, J. C. Greer, Ed Greer and Bartly Greer, all of Surgoinsville; four sisters, Mrs. Connie Brice, Mrs. Emmer Fields, Mrs. Blanche Greer and Miss Ossie Greer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the home with the Rev. Ray Hammonds and the Rev. Herman Overbay officiating.

Burial was in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
