Anderson Fields is the oldest out of 12 siblings to Carter and Nannie Jarnigan Fields. He grew up on a farm and worked very hard for his father. He loved to dress nice which was hard back then and he always looked very neat. He married Molly Greer-Sargent who had 6 children from John Sargent (deceased) and they moved to Lafayette, Indiana. He and Molly had 3 children: D.H., Alice "little Sarepta" and Joyce. He returned to Jonesville (Fleenortown) where he lived beside his step daughter, LulaMae Sargent-Ely. He lived his last days in a nursing home (Dryden). One of his favorite foods was fried shrimp from Long John Silver. His sister, Justine, would make sure he had his shrimp when she came to visit him. He was respected by all, this soft-spoken, kind-hearted and loving son of Carter and Nannie Fields.
