MRS. CARD OF RAYMOND DIES AT PORTLAND, ORE.
Raymond, Dec. 17 - Mr. S.B. Card received a telegram from his father, C.W. Card last night who is at Portland, Oregon, advising him of the death of his wife, Mrs. Card, senior.

Mrs. Card with her husband left here a few months ago for Portland where she was to undergo an operation and due to defective teeth the lady was advised to have all her teeth extracted before having the major operation performed.

The report stated that the excess poison in the decayed teeth coupled with a weak heart was the cause of her death.

Mrs. Grace Card is the second wife of Mr. Card, his first wife died ten years ago. Two years later he married this woman. The body will be shipped to Raymond for burial. [Lethbridge Herald, 18 Dec 1924]
