The funeral of Mrs. Vernie Bell, aged 33 years, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow (Friday) from the Pleasant Grove U.B. Church at 11 o'clock. Rev. D.F. Glover will officiate. Mrs. Bell was a Miss Whitemore before her marriage, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whitemore of this place. Her death came as a sad blow to the community and her family as she leaves behind her eight children, the youngest being twins four weeks old. Her parents and her husband also survive.
