Rose Mary passed away Sunday, Morning, June 9, 2013 at her home.
She was born August 30, 1924 in Almond, WI the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa (Lutz) Picchiottino. She was a very active and dedicated member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw, Trinity Altar Guild and Hand Bell Choir. She enjoyed painting, embroidering, needle point and working on projects for the church with her husband. On June 12, 1954 in South Haven, Rose Mary was united in marriage to Allen E. Werk who preceded her in death on October 21, 2011. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Picchiottino. Surviving are 2 sons, Rev Allen (Ann) Werk of Batavia, NY and Warren (Kelly) Werk of Lawrence, MI; 3 grandchildren, Philip Werk of Los Angeles, Samuel Werk of Chicago and Katelyn Werk of Lawrence; 3 brothers, Bill (Elsbeth) Picchiottino of WI, Allen Picchiottino of MI, David (Myrna) Picchiottino of WI and twin sisters, Goldie and Gloria Picchiottino of MI. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Thursday, (6/13) 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Eric Gledhill officiating.
Interment will be in Hoppin Cemetery,
