She was employed as a bank teller for Citizens Deposit Bank in Arlington. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton.
Surviving are one daughter, Joyce Kellett of Milburn; one son James E. "Sonny" Pearson of Milburn; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie R. Pearson, and one sister. Her parents were Edward Boyce Perkins and Bida Dodson Perkins.
Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Arlington. Rev. Rocky James officiated, with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
