YAKIMA - Doris Marie Keeth, 76, of Yakima formerly of the Toppenish-Zillah area passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2000 at the Crescent Convalescent Center in Yakima. She was born on April 11, 1924 in Zillah, the daughter of James and Vivian (Allman) Pace.
Doris attended schools in Zillah. After her schooling she married her first husband Jerry Gorski in Yakima. Much later she married Regan Keeth in Wapato on September 11, 1961.
Doris cooked for many of the hospitals in the valley. She also cooked for her church camps. She retired in 1984.
Doris was a member of the Toppenish Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 2229.
Her main enjoyment was taking care of people and seeing to it that they always had good food, this will be missed by many.
Doris is survived by four sons, Bob Gorski of Twisp, WA, Stu Gorski of Bellingham, Mike Gorski of Selah; and Pat Gorski of Bellingham; one daughter, Arlene Goodell of Brewster, WA; one step-son, Regan Keeth of Vancouver, WA; three step-daughters, Diane Stout of Yakima, Beatrice Keeth of Richland and Peggy Keeth of Selah; three brothers, Dick Alsbury of Astoria, OR, Bob Alsbury of Gresham, OR and Harvey Alsbury of Eugene, OR; one sister, Juanita Thompson of Seattle; thirty-one grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Regan Keeth.
Funeral services for Doris will be on Friday, July 7, 2000 at 1:00 P.M. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Toppenish. Concluding services and burial will be in the West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima. Viewing will be from 9:00 A.M. (today) until 8:00 P.M. also at Colonial Funeral Home.
