RITES HELD AT WAYNE CHURCH
LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO LOCAL ANAMOSAN
Funeral service for Mrs. Harm Fechtmann, 71, who died Wednesday night, Feb. 18 at her home in Anamosa after a long illness was held Saturday at 1:45 p.m. at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. Rev. F.H. Kehren, pastor of the church, officiated and burial was I Wayne cemetery.
Mrs. Fechtmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Dirks, was born at Pella on April 13 1870 She was married on Jan. 24, 1896, to Mr. Fechtmann and after their marriage, the couple made their home on a farm in Wayne township until they retired and moved to Anamosa 13 years ago. She was a member of Wayne Lutheran church.
She is survived by her husband; one son John, Langworthy, three daughters, Mrs. Henry J. Zimmerman, Anamosa; Mrs. Paul Landis, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Fred E. Poppe, Langworthy
