Ruth Augusta Franklin Wagoner, 93, of Dacula, Ga., formerly of Greeneville, died Friday evening at Silverleaf Alzheimer Care in Snellville, Ga.

She was a hair stylist.

Survivors include two sons and
daughters-in-law: David E. and Kathy Barnes of Dacula, and Russell A. and Eunice Barnes of Greeneville; one daughter: Joyce Jiretz of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two grandsons: John David Jiretz and his wife, Sharon, and Russell Kevin Barnes and his wife, Jennifer, all of Tampa, Fla.; one granddaughter: Brenda Sue Martin and her husband, Jan, of Birmingham, Ala.; six great-grandchildren: Jessica Martin, Beau Martin, Juliana Martin, Parker Martin, Brianna Barnes and J.R. Barnes; one sister: Anna Lee Blankenship of Greeneville; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne and Erma Franklin of Greeneville; and two sisters-in-law: Ann Franklin and Stella Franklin, both of Greeneville.

She was a daughter of the late L.C. and Magnolia Shelton Franklin and was preceded in death by four brothers: L.C. Franklin Jr., Roston Franklin, W.V. "Slim" Franklin, and Maney L. Franklin; and seven sisters: Nell Norton, Mamie "Brasky" Franklin, Olga Miser, Inza Luster, Willa Mae Belt, Hathaway Tweed, and Asta Marie Franklin.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. John Nicholson will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in Fairview Cemetery on Snapps Ferry Road.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Franklin, Eddie Feezell, John Jiretz, Cody Earley, Steven Banks, and Ricky Darnell.
