Birth: Possibly Chester County or likely Delaware County (family residence in 1860 census). Arabella appears to have lived most of her life in Delaware County.

Spouse: Alexander Provo Bain 1862-1915
Marriage: Married in her family's home in Chester City, Delaware County, on Thursday evening, June 4, 1885, at 8:30 P.M. Married by Pastor Theodore Stevens of Madison Street M.E. Church.

After her marriage, she and Alexander remained in Chester City where they raised their family. About 1907, they moved to Passaic, NJ, where Alexander had found new employment. After his unexpected death in September 1915, Arabella and daughter, Elizabeth, moved to Philadelphia where her older daughter, Jane, and sister, Jennie, lived. Arabella died unexpectedly 6 months after her husband died. Death occurred after a two day illness-apoplexy.
