After his unexpected death in September 1915, Arabella and daughter, Elizabeth, moved to Philadelphia where her older daughter, Jane, and sister, Jennie, lived. Arabella died unexpectedly 6 months after her husband died. Death occurred after a two day illness-apoplexy.
