Frank R.Curtis Sr.a retired contractor,died Sunday in Philadelphia General Hospital.He was 72 and lived at 8203 Elberon av.
Mr. Curtis operated the Frank R. Curtis General Contracting Co., State road and Unruh av. and the Tacony Coal and Lime Co. at the same address, before his retirement in 1851.
He was a Mason and belonged to the Northeast Shrine Club.
Mr. Curtis also owned several harness racing horses before his retirement.
He is survived by two sons, Frank R. Curtis Jr. and Walter S. and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at Mannal's 6925 Frankford av. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Frank also enjoyed participating in trapshooting competitions.
