The Rev. Dave Bullock, 93, of 7776 Crady Court, Stantonsburg, died Friday at Avante at Wilson. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Ernest Melton at 2 p.m. Thursday at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 519 Singletary St. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Surviving are nine daughters, Annie Moore of Rocky Mount, Agnes Webb and Estella Anderson, both of Wilson, Rosa Taylor of Portsmouth, Va., Addie West and Louise Freeman, both of Stantonsburg, Emma Thompson of Greensboro, Elouise Potter of Washington, D.C. and Gladys Davis of Dover, Del.; three sons, David Bullock, Moses L. Bullock and Henry G. Bullock, all of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Polly Johnson of Richmond, Va., Ann O. Gay of Farmville and Ethel Ruffin of Washington, D.C.; 38 grandchildren; and 81 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. and will assemble at Edwards Funeral Home, 805 E. Nash St., one hour before the funeral.
