Maria Paige, 87, of Manchester, died Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Maria spent 25 years in the packaging department of Schering-Plough Co. in Union before retiring in 1978. Born in Jamaica, N.Y., she lived in Mountainside and Berkeley before moving to Manchester 13 years ago.
Predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 2006, she is survived by two daughters, Linda Yack of Bordentown, and Barbara Gardner of Smithville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Kristin Mizenko, Michael Yack, Patty and Edward Dudek; five great-grandchildren, Molly and Justin Mizenko, Liam and Gwenith Yack, and Eddie Dudek.
A chapel service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 10 at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover. Arrangements by DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, Lakehurst.
