WAKELAND, Armajean "Jean"
of Kalamazoo, Michigan

Passed away Thursday evening, June 28, 2012 at her residence. Jean was born November 23, 1935 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Harold and Frances (Phipps) Vincent. Jean loved to travel and take trips to the casino. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed getting together with her family and friends. On July 22, 1978 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Warren, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Linda (Mike) Hughes, Stanley (Terry) Uminn, David (Lesa) Uminn, Rose Randall, Tony (Lisa) Uminn; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; in-laws, Bill (Phyllis) Wakeland, Jim (Kenda) Wakeland; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family Tuesday July 3, from 2-4pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm at the chapel. Private interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
