HUGHES, RUTH A.
JACKSON CENTER –MISS RUTH HUGHES, 61, a lifelong resident of Shelby County, died at 6 a.m. yesterday in the Shelby County Home after a long illness.
Miss Hughes was born Feb. 19, 1897, and had lived in the county home 17 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Theodore, Lima; and Stanley, Marion, Ind.
The body was removed to the Van Horn Funeral Home here where services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, the Rev. E. H. Bottoms officiating. Burial will be in the Seventh Day Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
