HOMER, LA - Graveside funeral services will be held for Gnettie A. Gordon, 90, at Arlington Cemetery in Homer on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Gordon was born May 9, 1916 in Athens, LA. She entered into rest Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007 in Grace Home following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Gordon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Homer and a homemaker.
Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lonnie Gordon of Homer; 2 sons, Ken Gordon and wife, Gayle of Shreveport and Johnny Gordon of Baton Rouge; 3 grandchildren, Greg Gordon and wife, Denise, Brad Gordon and wife, Amy and Aimee Gautreau; 7 great-grandchildren, Lane, Mary Claire, Colton, Cody, Casey, Sarah and Ashlynn.
