Mr. Arrington was born August 22, 1911 in Heard County, Ga. to the late Charlie Arrington and Bessie Dowdy Arrington. He was a retired machine operator for the William L Bonnell Company in Newnan. Mr. Arrington spent many of his younger years in the farming industry. He was a faithful member of the New Springs Methodist Church. He was a much loved husband and father.
A funeral will be Friday, December 8 at 4 p.m. at New Springs Methodist Church with the Reverends Larry McDaniel and Ray Franklin Singer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Young Arrington; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Bob Codner of Franklin, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Edgar and Myrtice Arrington; sister, Lucile Hardy of Franklin, Ga.; brother, B. J. Arrington of LaGrange; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Carrollton Hospice in Carrollton, Ga.
