Merunka was a member of the Washington Sharks Swim Team and captain of the Warren Hills Regional High School swim team. His intense passion for the pool, his happy-go-lucky demeanor and his steadfast companionship for all he encountered is what many remember about him. Dustin was always cheering others on, inside and outside the pool.
