- At Stafford Court House, VA, on Monday, Feb 26, 1917, at 10 p.m., Mrs. Ella H. Bloxton, wife of A.E. Bloxton, aged 75 years. Mrs. Bloxton was a Christian mother--intelligent, refined and respected by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Estelle Eustace, Mrs. Belle Jones, Mrs. Betty Barlow, Mrs. Lucy Stevens, C. P. Bloxton, and W.H. Bloxton; one sister, Mrs. Florida Virginia Conway (Mrs. J.G. Allen), and many grandchildren. "God needed her, and so, though sad, Our hearts bow to His will, For who are we to murmur, When He whispers, "Peace, be still." UNDERGOES SERIOUS OPERATION
Mrs. Alexander Edwin Bloxton of Stafford C.H. (Courthouse), VA, underwent a serious operation Tuesday morning at the Mary Washington Hospital. The operation was performed by Drs. R.J. Payne, F. C. Pratt and 0. Mason Smith. Although 70 years of age, Mrs. Bloxton stood the operation remarkably well. She was taken while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charles Barlow in this city.

STAFFORD COUNTY ITEMS, Stafford C. H., VA, Saturday, November 16, 1895:
Mrs. Ella H. Bloxton, Assistant Postmaster at this place, paid the "burg" a visit last Thursday.

The Bee (Danville, Virginia), 01 May 1937, Sat, Page 7 reported that:
MRS. A. E. BLOXTON had a dividend or refund of $ .54 due her, and if she didn't get down to the Commercial Bank & Trust Company and pick it up, there was a deadline of six months from May 1, 1937, and she would be barred from the right to thereafter receive after that!

​From Courthouse Road (Route #630) go east to Dent Road (Route #707) (0.4 mile). Turn left on Dent Road and go to end of road (0.3 mile) and turn left on to a private road. Cemetery is located next to road on the right about 200 yards from entrance of the private road. Cemetery is fenced and contains one stone (Barlow) and one obelisk (Bloxton). Other grave sites are marked with poles and rocks.
