Jordan Independent, Jan 1954 GEO. GEIS DIED AT PRIOR LAKE Former Marystown Farmer in Ill Health For A Number of Years. Funeral services for Geo. Geis, 68, were conducted at Prior Lake on Tuesday morning at ten o'clock. He passed away in his home there last Sunday. Mr. Geis was a farmer in the Marystown area before before retiring with his wife to Prior Lake eight years ago. He had been ill much of the time since then. Mr. Geis is survived by his wife Catherine, three sons, Ray Geis of St. Joe and Paul and Elmer Geis of Marystown; four daughters, Mrs. Ray Hennen, (Evelyn) of Prior Lake; Mrs. Andrew Krautkemer (Leonette) of St. Benedict; Mrs. George Hruby, (Annabelle) and Mrs. John Rezac, (Eileen) of Lonsdale.
