Billy Lee Jones, 64, of Jumpertown died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.

He was Born March 26, 1949 to Christine Stanford Jones and Leroy Jones.

He grew up in the Dumas Community and was a 1967 Graduate of Pine Grove High School.
He also Graduated from Northeast Mississippi Community College.

He was a Member of Jumpertown United Methodist Church where he currently Served on the Committee of Trustees.
He Served as Chairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee for many years; and Taught Sunday School.

He always wanted to be at Church early to have Coffee ready for everyone.
He was a Man of Great Character and Integrity.

He Married Norma Jo English Jones, the Love of His Life, on March 1, 1980.
They Enjoyed Traveling and going out to eat at different Restaurants, but they mostly Enjoyed Being Together at Home working in the Yard or taking care of the House.

Their Favorite Pastime was sitting Side-By-Side in their Recliners, Holding Hands, and watching their Favorite Television Shows.

Together they Raised four Daughters and Created a very Happy Life in the Jumpertown Community.

He Enjoyed working in his Yard and Helping Others.

His eight Grandchildren brought him Great Joy and he Loved them so much.
He Enjoyed Sharing Stories about his Grandchildren with everyone.

He was Loved Beyond Measure by his Family and all who knew him.

He was an Avid Ole Miss Football Fan and Loved Tailgating in The Grove.
He Loved Inviting Friends to visit on Game Days.

He was a Member of University of Mississippi Athletics Association.

He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Member of Lodge 47 of Ripley.

He was an Employee of Long Distribution of Corinth for the past twenty-eight Years.
He Loved his Work and Customers.
He always said that his job never seemed like work.
His Customers became Lifetime Friends.
He Enjoyed spending time with them.

Prior to working for Long's, he worked fifteen years at American Biltrite in Ripley in Quality Control.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Jumpertown United Methodist Church with Bro. Jason Franklin Officiating and Ronnie Sweeny and Randy Long Delivering the Eulogy.
Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery.

He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Norma Jo English Jones; four Daughters, Lori Stroupe Sims of Booneville; Leslie Jones Pettey and Husband, Jonathan, of Saltillo; Andrea Jones Tucker and Husband, Travis, of Tuscumbia, AL; and Marcie Whitley McCafferty and Husband, Dustin, of Ripley; his Mother, Christine Jones of Dumas; two Sisters, Brenda Jones Robertson; and Bonita Jones Crawford and Husband, Barry; both of Ripley; two Brothers, Bobby Jones and Wife, Martha; and Bruce Jones and Wife, Janet; both of Dumas; eight Grandchildren, Cayson Coleman, Kaylee Sims, Livvy Coleman, Sidney Tucker, Emma Pettey, Jacob Tucker, Ruthie McCafferty, and Maggie McCafferty.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Leroy Jones; Father In Law, Norman English; and his Grandparents, W.T. "Bill" and Ida Jones; and Robert Herman and Ozelle Stanford.

Pallbearers will be: Jarvine Shackelford, C.O. Boone, David Brown, Johnny Robbins, Ronnie Sweeny, Shane Strickland, Larry English, and William Ellis Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: His Sunday School Class, Craig Brown, Butch Essary, Donnie Lauderdale, Rusty Boone, Tracy Dye, Jonathan Pettey, Travis Tucker, Dustin McCafferty, Mikel Sims, Nathan Robertson, Brandon Crawford and Employees of Long Distribution.

Visitation will be 5 -9 P.M. on Monday; and until 12:00 Noon on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
The Body will Lie In State from 1:00 till Service time on Tuesday at the Church.
