METTER - Agnes Walsh Collins, 96, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Cedar Plantation. The Candler County nativewas the daughter of Hughey and Annie Pennington Walsh.
Shhe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carroll Collins; two infant daughters, and three siblings, Glarys Davis, John H. Walsh and J.P. Walsh.Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Lott of Metter; three grandchildren, Angela Carlson, Johnnie Lott and David (Laura) Lott; two great grandchildren, Aniebelle Carlson and Rosalyn Lott and one soon-to-be.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:30 PM, at the EvergreenCemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 5:30-7:30 PM at the funeral home. Remembrances may be made to the Metter First Baptist Church, POB 34, Metter, GA 30439 or Ogeechee Area Hospice, POB 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.
