Paralysis Victim
Mrs. Eliza Hughes, aged 67 years, widow of Jefferson Hughes, well known resident of Aleppo township, died rather suddenly Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 24, 1932, at 2:15, succumbing to a stroke of paralysis at her home near Sugar Grove.
Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of the late John and Mary Lewis, and was a lifelong resident of the Sugar Grove community. She was a member of the Green Valley Christian church. Her husband died seven years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mark Meighen, of West Alexander, and Mrs. Mary Staggers, of Sugar Grove, and one brother, M. B. Lewis, of Cameron, W. Va.
