Frances Victoria Arnold, 93, of Haileyville, died Friday at Twin Cities Nursing Center, Hartshorne. Born Oct. 10, 1902 to Mr. and Mrs. Wilberforce, she married Henry J. Arnold on Nov. 15, 1922 in Okmulgee, making Haileyville their home. She worked as a nurses aid for 12 years at St. Mary's Hospital and was a member of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church, Haileyville. Survivors include three sons, Charles H. "Dugie" Arnold, Haileyville, Frank "Shine" Arnold, Hartshorne, and Carl Allen Arnold, Norfolk, Va.; a daughter, Hermeda "Sam" Kahler, Haileyville; three sisters, Louise Van Meter, Arizona, Minnie Dunham, California, Alice Rich, Haileyville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Josephine Epps and Inez Burnett; and a brother, John David Dunn. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at North McAlester Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Almy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mills Funeral Home, Hartshorne.
