Virgil was born 9th of 12 children to the parents of Roy Lee and Minnie Ola Huse in 1928. He served in the Coast Gaurd as a young man and was a carpenter by trade. Not only was he a Jack-of-all-Trades, he was a Master of Them as well.
Virgil is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ophelia Huse and 4 of their 5 children: Virgil Don of Rowlett, Tx. and his 6 children; Joe Mack and wife Jan of Michigan, with their 2 children; Mona Lisa and husband Steve of Corsicana, TX with their 3 children; and John David and wife Kira of The Colony, TX with their 3 children. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Leon Huse, Robert Huse, Jessie Huse, and 3 sisters, Thelma Fitzhugh, Ruby Smith, Betty Lafferty, and too many to mention nieces and nephews.
Our Virgil was preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Ann Huse, his parents, Roy Lee and Minnie Ola; brothers, Henry Huse, Billy Ray Huse, and Sisters, Francis Cox, Laura Morris, and Opal Dryden.
