Robert W. Price, 496 Hazle Street, City, died this morning at 9:30 in Wyoming Valley Hospital where he had been a medical patient for the past week.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late William and Mary Davis Price.
Mr. Price was educated in Wilkes-Barre City Schools and was a member of St. Patrick's Church, City. He was employed as an upholsterer for the United Furniture Company, City, for more than 40 years, retiring two years ago. He also was a member of Local 56, Upholsterers Union.
Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Cosgrove; children, Mrs. Peter Watson, New York City; Lois, William, Robert and James, all at home; two grandchildren, Joan Marie and Patricia Watson; sisters and brothers, Mrs. Catherine Fritz, Ashley: Mrs. George Faltz, Mrs. John Kirwin, Mrs. Margaret Bittenbender, Mrs. Carl Hill, Daniel, Thomas and Edward Price, all of Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will be held from the McLaughlin Funeral Home, 142 South Washington Street, City., Friends may call Sunday and Monday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m.
